da jogodeouro: Arsenal now hold genuine interest in signing an Inter Milan star, amid a new update on his future at San Siro.
Gunners looking at new signings after Nottingham Forest draw
da cassino online: With Manchester City succumbing to a 2-0 derby defeat against Manchester United, the Gunners had the opportunity to move nine points clear at the top of the Premier League table, but they were unable to break down a struggling Nottingham Forest side.
Mikel Arteta’s side played out a 0-0 draw at the City Ground, with Viktor Gyokeres once again failing to impress, receiving a SofaScore match rating of 6.0, the lowest of any player, prior to being replaced by Gabriel Jesus before the hour mark.
There are question marks over Gyokeres, with the Sweden international scoring just five Premier League goals this season, but the north Londoners have looked very solid at the opposite end of the pitch, shipping just 14 goals in 22 matches.
As such, there arguably isn’t a pressing need to bring in any new defenders, but Arsenal are now showing genuine interest in signing Inter Milan star Federico Dimarco, with the left-back yet to agree a new deal to extend his stay at the San Siro beyond 2027.
That is according to a report from Tuttosport (via Sport Witness), which states Manchester United have now backed away from a deal for Dimarco, potentially opening the door for a move to the Emirates Stadium.
Inter want to extend the full-back’s contract until 2029, and they will no doubt be hoping the £124k-a-week star doesn’t have his head turned by the Gunners, given the level of his performances over the past two seasons…
Dimarco among the "best" left-backs in the world
Legendary former Brazil left-back Roberto Carlos clearly rates the Inter man very highly, saying ahead of the Champions League last season: “He is one of the best left-backs in the world, I hope he always plays well. That’s the most important thing.”
Inter ultimately went on to lose 5-0 against Paris Saint-Germain, but the 28-year-old has certainly bounced back this season, displaying his attacking prowess by amassing four goals and seven assists in 19 Serie A outings.
Arsenal flop is now fast becoming a bigger waste of cash than Nicolas Pepe
If he doesn’t improve quickly, the Arsenal star is in danger of becoming a bigger flop than Nicolas Pepe.

That said, while the Italian is a top-quality attacking full-back, there are doubts over whether Arsenal need to bring in another left-back, with Riccardo Calafiori and Myles Lewis-Skelly already on the books.
Arteta is well-stocked in defence, and centre-forward has been more of a problem position, with Gyokeres scoring just three Premier League goals from open play, so the manager may be better off bringing in reinforcements in attack.
